A tour through an old polder landscape on and around the Zeeland-Flemish border. You cycle past the castle of Boekhoute in Belgium to the renowned mussel village of Philippine, where an astonishing number of restaurants offer you a variety of seafood. In earlier times there was a harbor here with access to the numerous mussel banks in the Western Scheldt. In the villages of Bentille, Watervliet, Sint-Jan in Eremo and Sint Margriete you will pass the protagonists from the famous animal epic 'Van den Vos Reynaerde', depicted by the Flemish artist Chris Ferket.
