The bike tour starts with a tour through Amsterdam along canals, monuments and museums. After crossing the IJ you leave the city. You cycle through the nature and recreation area 't Twiske and the peat meadow area with the typical wooden houses and sawmills to the Zaanse Schans. Here you can visit several museums, still running mills, old Dutch crafts and Zaanse houses. You spend the night in Zaandam.
