First you cycle through Roombeek, a new district built up after the fireworks disaster of May 13, 2000. Via picturesque Lonneker you pass the former Twente airport and past the salt houses of Twekkelo. Along the way you will pass the Oele watermill before reaching the hotel in Hengelo, located in the beautiful, authentic Tuindorp district designed by Karel Muller.
