After the large dam (Wesertalsperre) you gradually cycle up into the nature park 'De Hoge Venen', the domain of cyclists and walkers. From the Kalterherberg train stop you follow the Vennbahn cycle path through a friendly meadow landscape with many streams. You pass the town of Montenau (cradle of the original Ardennes ham) and you cross the Meuse-Rhine watershed. You will spend the night in Sankt Vith, where the regional museum is housed in the old Bahnhof.
